Two cities, two kitchens, and two best friends both drawn to the culinary arts for health and enjoyment… this yields Breadwinner, our cooking and food culture journal.  Karrin, the resident Philadelphian, prefers taking the path of least resistance when whipping anything up, while Michelle, a Brooklyn inhabitant, tackles vegetarian/vegan projects (with a heavy side of baking).  What you get is a diverse and (sometimes) healthful take on how to keep the kitchen interesting even when work, school, and life are constantly knocking at the door.
